Central Library Reconstruction (201 W. Mifflin St.). Traffic impacts - applicable through mid-May, 2013.
Block 100 State Street project
The Block 100 Foundation project, a private project involving a number of buildings on the 100 block of State St., is underway. Construction fencing will go up in late January, and demolition of some buildings will take place in February and March. Pedestrian access will be maintained on State Street and W. Mifflin St. for adjoining businesses. The sidewalk and parking lane on the north side of the 100 block of N. Fairchild St. across from Overture Center will be used by the contractor for deliveries and placement of the construction crane. The project is scheduled for completion in spring, 2014.

Construction Survival Guide-2011 edition
The Small Business Advisory Council (SBAC) of the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce and the City of Madison have released an updated road construction survival guide for businesses (April, 2011). The survival guide outlines business tips, best practices and other recommendations to help businesses prosper before, during and after road construction. Download PDF at link above.
700-800 blocks State St., 2014 reconstruction planning
The City of Madison, in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is developing design plans for the 2014 reconstruction of the 700 & 800 Blocks of State Street (Lake Street to Park Street) and Library Mall. There was a public input meeting April 23, and another one will be scheduled in the summer.

The city's State Street Design Oversight Committee will be holding regular meeting throughout 2013 to guide the development of the plans for the reconstruction. The meetings will be the of the 4th Thursday of the month at 5:15 pm, starting Thursday Jan. 24. Check the city's Legislative Calendar about a week prior to find agendas with meeting location.
100 blocks King and E. Main reconstruction (2014) planning
The city of Madison will reconstruct the 100 blocks of King Street and E. Main Street in spring/early summer 2014. A public information/planning meeting was held April 30, and a followup meeting will be scheduled in the summer.
